The Arthur L. Huskey Memorial Library was completed in February, 1997. At the dedication on February 23, 1997, the library was named for Mr. Huskey who served as principal from 1982 - until his passing on July 10, 1996. As a teacher, principal, mentor, and friend, Mr. Huskey touched the lives of hundreds of children, parents, teachers, staff members, and citizens of the community. He was respected and loved by those that knew him and described as a kind, gentle, and giving person. He served our district and community for 28 years. Depicted below is Mr. Huskey in a painting dedicated in his memory by the Long School staff which hangs just inside the library. 

The new library was decorated by Ed and Sheri Brimer with wonderful graphics around the theme "Explore Your World".
