![]() | Since 1961, Kennerly Elementary School has been a scholastic beacon, where families are invited to share the educational experiences of their children. Parents, as well as community members, have teamed with the talented professional staff at Kennerly to create a school environment that is challenging and rewarding to the diverse needs of each young learner. “Friends Learning Together,” Kennerly’s school motto, exemplifies our mission at Kennerly: “...to involve the entire Kennerly family in creating a child-centered environment where individuals are challenged to become responsible, productive, lifelong learners.” Located on the southwestern edge of St. Louis County, Kennerly School sits on land that was once farmed by the Wohlschlaeger family. |

Not until the opening of St. Anthony’s Medical Center in 1975, did the area transition from rural to suburban. Even today, Kennerly Elementary School sits on 16 acres and boasts a student-created-and-maintained nature trail comprised of over 30 mature trees from the original farm. Indeed, Kennerly School is a landmark in the Tesson Ferry Road area west of I-270 in the Lindbergh School District. |
